My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Hot Air ballooning experience on Dec. 28 with Jim as our guide. He gave an exceptional tour and was very personable with us. This was our first hot air balloon experience, and it was beautiful--from start to finish. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast at Rangers Rest; the food, atmosphere, and company were excellent. A special thanks to Jim for joining us and entertaining us during the fantastic breakfast. Happy 2008 to all of you and many thanks for the marvelous experience.

I can not commend the Hot Air crew enough! From the moment I was collected in the morning till the moment I was returned, the crew - both air crew & bus drivers - were so wonderful! They were informative, very funny & so helpful. Keep up the great work!

WOW! What a day. As they say " Best Crew ". A special thanks to Brownie ( I think?) who in our opinion deffinately made the trip a very funny and informative one. The crew were all halarious and our pilot was AWESOME (we were told it was his first landing, but found out afterwards he had done over 5000 hours). What we learnt was to never take the crew seriously, if they say theres a whole in the basket- dont worry. If they say the pilot is a "learner" dont worry haha. The balloon trip itself was a blast, fun and some great views. Was also quite neat to get to know a few fellow Kiwi's whilst on the trip. MMMMMMMMMM- The breakfast was devine. There was a cold breakfast and a hot breakfast (although we didnt try the cold stuff, too busy stuffing our faces with all the yummy hot stuff) The meal was great but the champaign was even better. Once again thanks for the great time! We will be recommending HOTAIR to everyone.

We loved every minute of our dawn with Fish the pilot & Graeme(?) the driver, What a merry band. This was easily one of the best days of my life and my husband’s birthday fun was complete. Thank you so very much for this great experience which we will never forget. Loved it love your crew and as I said to Fish/Marc I will be (and am already) gas bagging about the gas bags!

Just a short note to say how much we enjoyed our ballooning experience. It was an amazing morning and I have a fear of heights yet there was no sensation of being so high up. The pleasant, calm drifting is probably why. We must thank you all for making my 60th birthday a very memorable one. Our pilot Jay was really great as were Nancy, Helene and Alex the photographer. We highly recommend your company for a very well run operation yet it was so personal and pleasant. Please pass on our thanks to the rest of your crew whose names I do not know. A beautiful trip. The flight is so smooth and quiet and the scenery is stunning

The flight was so relaxing and lovely. Got to see the sunrise and saw some nice views over the Atherton Tablelands. When you land you may get the chance to help put the balloon away - an experience you should take up! Buckets of fun that. A lovely way to spend your morning. A nice breakfast and glasses of champagne when you finish your flight. We then had the rest of the day to explore Cairns (if you have a car definately drive up to Port Douglas - the drive is beautiful!).

Thank you very much for your fast and efficient service. We had a really great day with hot air we would also like to thank the staff for the helpfulness and being so friendly to us, we would definitely recommend you to other people. GREAT SERVICE.

Our party comprised of 2 parents, 2 grandparents from Scotland and 2 kids. We all had the best time, what a fantastic mornig. This tour certainly had the wow factor and we were very sorry to finish the morning. Jay was a wonderful pilot and he couldn't have done more to make us welcome. You can not get a better morning than this. Truly magical. The flight did complete justice to the scenery, with everything you could ever want - from the mountains and yes we could see the sea, as well as Brisbane and Gold Coast - all at once. Jason has thought of everything. Thank you - we had an incredible honeymoon and we'll never forget our balloon tour & the Vineyard.
