Check-in with Big Cat Green Island Cruises Staff at Cairns' Reef Fleet Terminal for your short trip to the Great Barrier Reef. Green Island is a Coral Cay with a sandy beach, and a part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The Green Island Weather is often much better than the mainland and avoics showers than might be happening onshore.

After you have checked in for your Big Cat Green Island ferry you will have free time for breakfast. Your Hot Air Driver will have given you an infomation sheet about your breakfast options.

Big Cat high speed catamaran departs for a 45 min journey to Cairns Green Island in comfort.

Arrive for your Green Island tour to wander the island, explore the Great Barrier Reef corals, fish and turltles and relax on the beach. Choose from either Snorkelling equipment or glass bottom boat. Lunch at your own arrangements. Watersports are available if you want to try like kayaking or parasailing

Big Cat's Green Island ferry departs promptly from Green Island, we recommend that you be at the Jetty at least 10 minutes prior, you can watch for more tutles and fish right from the jetty while you wait but bring a sun hat !

Arrive back at Cairns Ref Fleet Terminal, 1 Spence Street. You will need to make your own way back to your accommodation or coach transfer back to your Cairns accommodation for $8 per adult, $4 per child..

WOW! What a day. As they say " Best Crew ". A special thanks to Brownie ( I think?) who in our opinion deffinately made the trip a very funny and informative one. The crew were all halarious and our pilot was AWESOME (we were told it was his first landing, but found out afterwards he had done over 5000 hours). What we learnt was to never take the crew seriously, if they say theres a whole in the basket- dont worry. If they say the pilot is a "learner" dont worry haha. The balloon trip itself was a blast, fun and some great views. Was also quite neat to get to know a few fellow Kiwi's whilst on the trip. Once again thanks for the great time! We will be recommending HOTAIR to everyone.

My partner and i, were picked up from our hotel and driven to the launch site, we watched all the balloons go up then we got in the busses and chased them down, then it was our turn it was great, you could see so much ov the beatiful landscape, when we landed the wind picked up and tipped the basket on its side, it was so much fun!! then we helped pack it away it was a laugh, thanks guys it was awesome!!
