Check in at the Reef Fleet terminal, then board Ocean Spirit for complimentary tea and coffee before departure.
Set sail aboard Ocean Spirit's comfortable air conditioned catamaran. the journey out the Michaelmas Cay is a leisurely 2 hours. Enjoy an informative Marine biologist slide show presentation.
Arrive at Michaelmas Cay - the coral starts about 5 meters off the cay and is an Outer Barrier reef experience. Hundreds of species of tropical fish live in and around the vibrant coral reef surrounding Michaelmas Cay and keep a look out for sea turtles that are also known to nest on the cay. Activities start, inclusions - Semi-Submersible coral viewing tour, snorkeling equipment, fish feeding presentation. Guided snorkel tour with a marine biologist and scuba diving available at an extra cost.
Buffet Lunch - enjoy a delious hot and cold buffet including meat dishes, salads, pasta, prawns and beef curry. (Vegetarian curry dish available daily).
Free time to snorkel, explore and relax
Board Ocean Spirit to return to Cairns. Afternoon tea of cheese, crackers, cake and a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.
Arrive back at Cairns Ref Fleet Terminal, 1 Spence Street. You will need to make your own way back to your accommodation or return coach transfer available from Cairns accommodation for $32 per adult, $20 per child.
