    “Ride of a Lifetime”
On April 28, 2011 my husband and I, the morning after arriving in Cairnes, experienced the awesome ride of our lives. We arose at 3:30 am to be picked up at our hotel by a great driver and take the journey to catch the hot air balloon ride in Mareeba. It was a first-time experience for both and we were very excited. Since we both are in our 70's we were just a little apprehensive but that didn't last long. We boarded the basket along with 18 or 19 others and began the thrill of our lives. We were very impressed with our driver, the guy taking pics and helping get everything ready to fly and the wonderful, very experienced, knowledgeable and funny pilot. He kept us laughing all the way as he told us about the sights we were viewing on the ground; i.e., the mango trees, kangaroo and many others interesting facts about the area. The view of the sky was awesome as we watched the sun peeping through the clouds and then full blown before we began the descent. It was great flying among the other balloons and enjoying the wonderful fresh air. Our pilot made a super, smooth landing and we thought our fun was over. No so, we had the privilege of helping to fold and secure the balloon in its bag so as to be ready for the next flight. I couldn't believe it when it actually fit the bag. We truly enjoyed the ride of our lifetimes. (via Trip Advisor)

“The best way to catch the sunrise”
This is the first try on ballooning for my wife and myself. I can see the brilliant sunrise in Cairns, the exellent scene from the top and also the Kangaroo, horses, mango trees farms etc. We loved it this created a memorial moment for our honeymoon. (via Trip Advisor)

    “Best experience ever”
Went on the fantastic trip on May 8th, 2011. The service from the very beginning to the end was quite high standard & the team was very professional and friendly. It's quite a unique experience to see the sun rise in the air & the view was just beyond any words. we had a great time on the balloon and we also enjoy the process of "packing up" sooo huge balloon in to a quite small bag. This is definitely a must-do thing. (via Trip Advisor)

    “Beautiful views!”
We went on this trip on the 6th of March and I can only say the views were amazing.
The trip was well organized, our balloon pilot was very knowledgeable and answered and questions we had.
Once you land you get to pack away the balloon, which both me and my partner found hillarious! (via Trip Advisor)
