Please know, that the hot air balloons do take off daily in the Canungra Valley.  This has the best suited weather for flying hot air balloons. 

Balloons do not take of at Tamborine Mountain itself.  When the balloons are up and flying there are wonderful views of Tamborine Mountain and Lamington National Park but the actual launch sites for your hot air balloon ride, is a 48 minute drive from O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat.

Many choose to do their hot air balloon ride first, then after a morning of ballooning and the champagne breakfast at Canungra Valley Vineyard, owned by O'Reilly's, it's easy to drive up Tamborine Mt, to check out O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat and experience a relaxing afternoon soaking in all the O'Reilly's has to offer.
