A Full Day Fun
A full but lovely day travelling with Hot Air for ballooning and then onto do the Skyrail up to Kuranda and the Train back to Cairns. We were on the second balloon flight after chasing the balloon down the road which was exciting. On the flight we saw some beautiful scenery and I was surprised by how quiet it was while we were flying. After we were dropped off to the skyrail and caught the 1015am cable cart up over the hill through the rainforest. The ride was in two parts so you were able to get off and walk through the rainforest and see the waterfall. We then spent a few hours wandering around the craft market in Kuranda. We went back down to cairns with the Scenic Railway which was on a beautiful old train. The sights were fantastic and the history very interesting. A busy but great day out.
