An interesting day out. The early morning balloon flight with pilot Dewal was fantastic, he was very professional and we felt safe always. We really enjoyed learning about Aboriginal culture at Tjapukai, it is very interesting to learn about.

Ballooning with Hot Air in Cairns was a highlight of our holiday. We also learnt about true history and culture at Tjapukai with some great aboriginal guides. This tour combination covers a lot so make sure you have a good rest the night before!

Hot Air ballooning is a very professional company and I am so glad I picked them. My mother is elderly but still relatively fit. They were so patient with her as she climbed in the basket and all the staff were so happy when she finally got in. The cable cart and train ride were a great way to see the rainforest. We both really liked the insight into indigenous culture at Tjapukai as we had not really seen that elsewhere.
