Slowly floating
As I've never been able to ride in a balloon in Japan, I didn't know what to expect. I thought it would be scary! But as I saw the balloon come to life and slowly rise up from the ground, I felt something I hadn't experienced before. The feeling of slowly floating off the ground and moving through the sky was like sucking in a breath of untasted air. Because it was winter, there was a little fog on the ground which made for fantastic scenery. The weather was great, and we were lucky enough to see the sunrise! Even after we landed, I had fun cleaning and packing the balloon. It was a lot of fun, and I will recommend to my family and friends. When I go to Cairns next, I want to do it again.
