Great experience from pickup to dropoff. I was lucky to fly with Hot Air Cairns many years ago and the experience was so memorable, I jumped on the opportunity to host and share the experience with colleagues last week. Shane our driver and Shane our pilot were friendly and professional, with a healthy dose of Aussie senseability and humour! This is a must do if you are in or around Cairns. The tablelands around Mareeba are said to be some of the best ballooning locations in Australia with predictable weather and winds so fewer cancellations and dissapoinments due to mother nature. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Gorgeous views watching the sunrise over the plains surrounded by mountain ranges on all sides. Just do it, you won't regret or forget the experience.
