The Story Bridge Adventure Climb is a unique adventure experience and is one of the most spectacular ways to discover Brisbane. Ideal for all fitness levels and ages, you will be amazed by the breathtaking 360-degree panorama view of Brisbane and its river and surrounding mountains. Throughout the climb, climbers hear commentary from the climb leader covering the bridge’s history and Brisbane’s transition from 19th century penal settlement to 21st century metropolis.
A heritage listed Story Bridge was designed by John Bradfield who also designed the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge in 1930's. The design for the bridge was based heavily on that of the Jacques Cartier Bridge in Montreal, completed in 1930.
Once atop the bridge, you will be rewarded with the amazing views and sense of achievement provided by the climb! The Story Bridge Adventure Climb is a 2.5 hour unique experience, it is challenging but safe.
