I contacted Hot Air to book a hot air balloon ride for myself and my partner on our anniversary to propose to her during the flight. Unfortunately, as the day approached, the weather did not seem like it wanted to play along. The staff at Hot Air went the extra mile and were extremely accommodating; answering my several phone calls to organise contingency plans and ensure every detail was set before the day. They even contacted me and prepared a back-up plan should we not be able to fly on the balloon due to weather.
Our pilot also went the extra mile, allowing me to leave a banner I had made with the big question on it for his collection the day before at a restaurant while he was in Brisbane! With his 24 years of ballooning experience, he was an absolute pro, ensuring that we not only were able to fly but that the plan went off without a hitch! Our driver, Kelly, also was fantastic on the day, showing us how well-rounded he was with his bi-lingual talents!
