Best Ballooning Experience Hands Down

We cannot thank Hot Air Balloons enough for the experience of a lifetime. One to absolutely tick off the bucket list! And to be honest, we’d definitely do it again.
We were fortunate enough to share this adventure with a group of our nearest & dearest friends to celebrate a special milestone birthday. From beginning to end, every aspect was beyond perfect; from the bus pick up with Kelly, to meeting our Pilot Jay. There were some pre-nerves & plenty of excitement but once we met Jay we knew we were in great hands. Jay’s been doing this for a long time & even though early that morning the rain crept in, Jay had found ‘a sweet spot’ to launch from, where we were virtually in our own zone of sunshine & clear weather for the entire journey. We began to ascend, but it didn’t feel like you were moving & so silent (apart from the occasional flame bursts). Even our super chatty group were so blown away by the breathtaking views, they hardly spoke (for a short while anyway). Lol. Spectacular doesn’t begin to cover it!!
Jay landed us so softly & asked if we wanted to tip the bucket (which we did) - haven’t laughed so hard in a while & everyone pitches in to help take the balloon down. Picture a stack of adults rolling around on top of a billowing balloon, (killing themselves laughing) all while dodging cow pats. Thanks also to Joe (team member)for meeting us on the ground). Back on the trailer to the bus & onward to a yummy champagne breakfast at O’Reillys Canungra Valley Vineyards. Beautiful valley, creek & even an Alpaca Farm! Thanks Deb for organising.
We didn’t want our time to end.
