It was magical as we gently lifted higher and higher.
The lush farmland below and silhouette of the distant hills made for a beautiful scene. We saw horses that were big and then small as we would ascend and then descend throughout the ride. It was fun to watch the kangaroos scurry from the pineapple groves at the sound of the ‘burner’. And the landing was easy. Our group ranged in age from 60’s-70’s. With the help of a step stool, foot holds on the large basket and guidance from the staff we all entered and exited with aging grace. This being our first hot air balloon ride we quickly gained confidence in the staff and crew as we watched their camaraderie and professionalism in getting the balloon ready, boarding the guest, handling the balloon and retrieving us. Would we do it again….absolutely? Thanks for a wonderful adventure!
