We had a lovely day doing hot air ballooning in the early morning with a very early pick up and then caught the beautiful vintage train back through the rainforest to Freshwater station. We opted to do the 3:30 pm train to give us nearly the whole day to explore the Kuranda village however it was quite touristy and a little pricey, still nice nonetheless.
