Being locals in Cairns we have always had it on our list to do hot air ballooning in Mareeba. We also thought it would be a nice idea to relive our childhood and do the Kuranda train like we used to do on school excursions. The balloon flight was everything I had hoped and the scenery was great. The train ride was just as I remember it and I really enjoyed the commentary as we can down the Macalister Range.
