Totally Worth the 2:30 AM Wake-Up – A Once-in-a-Lifetime Flight
Waking up at 2:30 AM made for a tough schedule, but it was totally worth the splurge!
We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed a smooth and stable flight.
The experience felt unhurried, with plenty of time to take it all in.
Seeing wild kangaroos hopping, flocks of birds, and cattle from above—only a balloon can offer that perspective!
Not once did I feel scared during the flight; I just enjoyed the beautiful sunrise, nature, and city views.
Helping pack up the balloon and joining the little morning party afterward also made for a relaxing and interactive time.
This might be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but I have zero regrets—it was amazing!
If I get the chance, I’d love to do it again!
