The Perfect Birthday Adventure in the Sky šŸŽˆšŸŽ‚
I went on the Hot Air Cairns balloon flight for my birthday and it ended up being one of the best experiences of the whole trip.

Frank and Tony were absolute legends from start to finish. Watching the balloon inflate in the dark before sunrise was already amazing, then getting in with the jet burners absolutely blasting overhead was unreal.

Once we were up, it was the complete opposite, incredibly peaceful floating over the Mareeba Tablelands as the sun came up, with huge views over the farms, open country and mountains.

The landing was probably one of my favourite parts. We came down in a completely random paddock with cows, kangaroos and wallabies all around us, which made the whole thing feel like a genuine adventure rather than a scripted tourist experience.

The crew made everything relaxed, funny and professional, and even the landing, packing the balloon away and having a drink afterwards were part of the experience.

Massive thanks to Frank, Tony and the crew. Perfect birthday morning and easily one of the highlights of Far North Queensland. Would 100% recommend it.
