Wonderful Hot Air Balloon trip
Excellent organisation and a fantastic experience. Picked up on time from our hotel by lovely Rob, the driver. Great safety briefing. Wonderful trip in the air with very nice and competent pilot, Dhawal. Superb weather and views but it was very cold in July. Make sure you have plenty of layers and woolly hat, gloves, scarf and pockets to stow everything in as no bags on the flight. You also need sunglasses as on a clear day when sun comes up it is v bright. Great landing and great fun folding up the balloon with Kevin. Then a trip in the trailer back to the bus. Lovely cooked, plated breakfast with champagne and then a wine tasting at O'Reilly's winery homestead. A walk with the alpacas and a seat by the creek to look for platypus. Then back on the bus to Gold Coast. A long outing- up for 4 and not back until 12 but well worth it. Highly recommended.
