Is it cold in the balloon?
You may be surprised to find that the temperature inside the balloon's basket isn't significantly colder than it is on the ground. This is because we don't ascend to altitudes where substantial temperature drops occur. Additionally, occasional heat bursts from the balloon's burners can provide some intermittent warmth during the flight. Nonetheless, early mornings at our launch sites, especially between April and October, can be quite chilly. As such, we recommend you dress in layers for your comfort, and be prepared for a brisk start to your incredible hot air balloon adventure!
