What a great combo with fantastic view
Our experience doing the Hot Air Ballooning and Kuranda Skyrail combination was great. We were transferred in the morning from the Colonial Club in Cairns to Mareeba which is around a one hour drive. Once our driver found out where the balloon were launching from we were whisked away to a paddock where we took off from. We had a lovely, peaceful thirty minute flight. After packing up the balloon we were then transferred to the small village of Kuranda. It was a characteristic place with markets and lots of small local shops. After lunch we joined the Skyrail cable car. It was an amazing cable car ride through the rainforest consisting of three separate rides stopping off on boardwalks to look around along the way. A wonderful day with spectacular views throughout and I would highly recommend doing both the balloon flight and the skyrail.
