Hot air ballooning as the fog gently lifts
This morning saw a shallow blanket of fog over the Mareeba valley as our expert team selected a launch site to make use of the gentle southerly flow. Once in the air, we were treated to stunning views of the Atherton Tablelands and we watched as the fog quickly thinned and dissipated with the rising sun.
Both balloons had the opportunity to fly over the spectacular Barron River and look for wildlife along it's winding banks, before eventually landing and celebrating with a photo inside the balloon envelope!
If you're looking to capitalise on the great weather at the moment, check out our current hot air ballooning rides, or bundle your balloon flight with a partner tour for a great Far North Queensland package.
Cheers to all!
