How to book your ballooning experience during COVID-19
The most common question we're fielding over live chat at the moment is, "Are you open?"
And the short answer is, "yes!" \
What does "open" mean for us?
Open means our business continues to operate without actually being able to fly our balloons due to social distancing restrictions that are in place at the time of writing this post. That will change. Even now, as of midnight Friday 1 May, social distancing restrictions in Queensland will ease, moving us one step closer to being fully operational.
So if you're open but not flying, what do I do if I want to book a flight?
There are two main options available. The first is to book your flight as a gift voucher - even for yourself! A gift voucher remains valid up until the date it is claimed, for THREE YEARS. This means that you can confidently make a booking knowing that once we're flying again, you can lock in a date that suits. Total flexiblilty.
The other option, if you're still really unsure about how things will pan out for you, is to register your interest in a balloon flight. You can do this through the form found on our COVID-19 and your Hot Air Balloon experience page, or alternatively, go directly to the form here. Once we have our wonderful balloons flying again (yes, including our iconic koala designs!), we'll be in touch to arrange the best option for you.

It's also important to note that our customer support is available over reduced hours for the time being. You can speak or live chat directly with someone Monday to Friday, 12 midday to 2pm. Out side of these hours (including public holidays), feel free to drop us an email and we'll follow up by the next business day.
