Picture perfect morning for hot air ballooning

There is no such thing as a bad day for ballooning on the Gold Coast or Cairns.

Despite a foggy drive to the base where the hot air balloons are stored, the fog quickly cleared by the time a launch site was selected this morning. Launching from the south east side of the Mareeba area, our hot air balloons were off the ground at first light.

It was a picture-perfect morning with clear visibility and our pilots Josh and Frank enjoyed the views as much as our passengers.
