Another Decade of Hot Air Ballooning

The end of 2019 marks the end of another decade. Things in the world have changed a fair bit in 10 years. 

Here are a few of the POP CULTURE highlights 2010-2019: 

• The final Harry Potter movie was released 
• We got 8 seasons of Game Of Thrones
• Selfies became HUGE
• The Kardashians all had kids
• Blockbuster and other video shops got replaced with Netflix
• A few Royal weddings happened
• Instagram and Facebook took off
• Planking was a thing
• Debates if a dress was blue/black or yellow/gold
• Lenado Decaprio finally won an Oscar

You get the idea... A LOT has happened in 10 years! One thing that has remained consistent though is HOT AIR BALLOONING continues to be an absolute highlight for people visiting Queensland! We have been around since 1996! In that time our itineraries have varied slightly, we have had pilots and other staff come and go... and some have even returned again, our pilots no longer wear green jumpsuits (thank goodness) and we now have one of the biggest fleets of Hot Air Balloons in the WORLD! Our local following is stronger than ever and our international travellers come from over 50+ different countries! Things that you may not be aware of that have not changed are - We are still a family owned and operated business. Same people. Same value for service. And looking forward to another 10 years (plus) of Hot Air Ballooning with you in 2020 and BEYOND!
